Monolithic PhotoSphere from Juniata College
This PhotoSphere was taken on the campus of Juniata College, Huntington, PA. It was quickly taken and has some obvious stitching errors, such as the flag pole. But if you swing around to the left there is a Monolith. I have no idea where it came from and it was not there in real life. It even has a shadow! Was my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 seeing into another dimension? Is the Monolith truly in Huntington right now? What can it mean? I will gladly supply the original file for inspection to any reputable scientific organization. Views: Juniata College Quad by don schwartz

The Teachers of the Juniata Transhumanism Conference
Teachers. I want to offer my single most important take away from the Juniata Transhumanism Conference 2015. Teachers are amazing creatures. I’ll post much more after my mind comes down from way too much time in my car, but for now I want to tell a story that finally, and completely, etched into me the lasting value of teachers. Don Braxton, the someone or other Professor of Religious Studies at Juniata College, hosted this conference on the future of the technological human. Very interesting to spend 5 days among religion teachers, athethiests, geeks, brilliant kids too and assorted retired, 80 year old engineers. The fact that they listened to and…

Mass Innovation Nights #MIN72
We had another incredible evening of networking and product launches at #MIN72 on March 11, 2015. LogMeIn are wonderful hosts and their multi-tiered space was perfect. I should also mention that the food was spectacular for a networking event and we owe that to Lucky’s Lounge, also the site of our fun after party. Most photos taken by myself with Google Glass and a couple with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Helping Kids Through Glass
We had a great Hangout on Air Friday, March 6 and learned so much from Dr. Joe, Roxanne and Rick. The topic was Kids and the ways Google Glass can be used in education and health. Dr. Joe Cohen discussed his Kiddo EMR practice management tool which utilizes Google Glass for data input. Roxanne Riskin and Rick Sare discussed their series of books built around Glass photos. I have Glass on the Beach and highly recommend it. Roxanne is a learning technologist who speaks to Glass and wearables in the classroom. Other book in the series are here. Check it out and share

My 1st Ever iTunes Podcast Submission Accepted
I’m excited. This is the first time I have ever submitted anything to iTunes®, and it was approved in a day! I perhaps should have waited until I had more episodes in the can, but I never expected to be accepted on my first try, with my very first podcast. Look for the publicized launch when we have 3 or more episodes. So, this has advantages. I’m starting the podcast hosted on my server, rather than one of the specialty hosts such as Libsyn. I can always move it once we are wildly popular, but for now, iTunes is more important. iTunes, Apple®, created podcasting and many times it will…
