Wish I had this in high school

From Wired The new Lego Architecture Studio set doesn’t come with instructions for any one building. Architecture Studio, a new set from Lego, comes with 1,210 white and translucent bricks. More notable is what it lacks: namely, instructions for any single thing you’re supposed to build with it. Instead, the kit is accompanied by a thick, 277-page guidebook filled with architectural concepts and building techniques alongside real world insights from prominent architecture studios from around the globe. In other words, this box o’ bricks is a little different. Where past Lego products might have had the happy ancillary effect of nurturing youngsters’ interest in architecture, here, that’s the entire point.…

    Moot by Glass

I had the pleasure of joining a diverse group of Moodlers at Moodlemoot Baltimore 2013.  The Moot took place over 2 days and 3 nights at Loyola University Maryland. The Moot sessions were excellent, but it is the people I go for and there was no lack of brilliance or diversity this week.  Here are a few of the over 200 photos I took with Google Glass.  The gallery is here and will be added to over the coming days.  Please feel free to download and share the pics.

NH Business Review on Glass NH Meetup

http://www.nhbr.com/July-26-2013/Google-Glass-gets-a-test-drive-at-NH-event/ “Pass the Glass,” a July 11 event held at the offices of Manchester-based Dyn, gave participants a chance to discuss and try out Google’s newest high-tech offering, Google Glass. Dyn employees, software developers and the tech curious filled Dyn’s solarium (a high-tech classroom) as web developer Joshua Cyr demonstrated the power of Glass. Execellent writeup by NHBR journalist who attended our July 11 Meetup.

    Google Glass NH Meetup

We had an awesome turnout at Dyn Thursday evening.   4 Glass Explorers and about 30 dreamers from kids to developers amd teachers. I opened by asking if I could take their picture and my screencasted view on the big screen took the photo.  I’ll add that later to a gallery.  Josh Cyr gave a presentation all about Glass, then we passed the Glass so everyone had a chance to try them on. We had 3 or 4 kids join their parents and the look on the faces was incredible and of course their were many, many selfies taken. [nggallery id=4]
